Vintage Painters of Niagara is a decorative painting guild with
80+ members and growing. It was founded on May 30, 1995, by
nine women within the Niagara Region in Ontario, Canada.
What do we do?
Regular Meetings - We share upcoming events and news, Show & Tell, raffle draw, enjoy coffee and snacks and participate in a Paint-In on the 3rd Sunday of each month from
12:30 - 4:30 pm at The Real Canadian Superstore, 411 Louth St. St. Catharines. There are no meetings in July and August. We have special events during the year such as the annual Wood & Book Sale and Christmas Party as well as various Community Service Projects.
In-House Seminars - 2 or more times a year, a VPON member teaches a one-day project on a Saturday or Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
What does it cost?
Regular Members - $20.00/year
New Members - $25.00/year (includes a brass VPON logo pin)
Paint-In Fee - Varies according to project
Raffle Ticket - $2 each or 3 for $5
In-House Seminars - $30 per day plus specific project supplies
Library Fees - Free to membership

History Book: A pictorial record of our guild since 1995.
Library: A growing resource of books, videos and magazines for our members.
Paint-In : At a monthly general meeting a project or technique is taught by a VPON member. Our "paint-in fee" of $5 covers surface, paint (if required), photocopying and a thank you to our instructors.
Refreshments: Provided by VPON. Provided by volunteer members if we use an alternate venue.
The Vintage Grapevine: Our monthly newsletter is filled with upcoming events, news, paint-in instructions, patterns, tips and techniques, Vintage Ads and messages from our members.
Vintage Ads: Decorative painting related advertisements in our monthly newsletter.
Business cards: $24/yr (includes listing on website)
Half page ad: $5
Full page ad: $10
